The Seni08 Post Review
Apr 30th, 2008 | News »We’re back from the SENI08 and wow was it an eventful weekend! For anyone who wasn’t there, and for our international users, here’s a quick run down of the event.
There were plenty of Martial Arts magazines all hounding for subscriptions, some of the larger ones had a few promo girls going around too (Now all the guys reading this wish they’d gone!) but they mostly offered nothing to the event.
There were however, great demonstrations from the Royal Marines Display Team (who will shortly be appearing on Fight Night Live) as well as a very large ju jitsu turnout of around 8 rings with constant action. There should be some ju jitsu appearing on Fight Night Live very shortly too!
Nearby, there was a fairly large setup for Escrima and Taekwondo (both of which are coming to Fight Night Live… do you see the pattern yet?) although the events at the Seni seemed to revolve mostly around juniors for both of these. There weren’t any great senior displays from Taekwondo, which was a shame as the sport usually lends itself well to showmanship.
A Shaolin Temple from China had brought a small troop of monks, who entertained the crowds for the full weekend. Again, we should be getting those guys, as well as some other higher-end kung fu displays, on Fight Night Live very shortly.
Of course, the main attraction of the Seni was the Ringmasters tournament. The largest and most prestigious Thai Boxing tournament of the year didn’t fail to disappoint. With even more weight categories this year, the fighting was much more competitive and there were plenty of knockouts!
Of course, why should be keep teasing you guys, when Fight Night Live own exclusive rights to the events footage! We’re editing it all as I write this, so watch this space!
Some pictures from the event to follow shortly too.
If you know the names of any fighters, please suggest them to be tagged by commenting below.

Alright fella’s!!!! Was just wondering when the DVD for Ringmasters 08 will be available?
Hi Ronnie,
Its currently been edited and put together at this minute. Where the tournament was a little larger this year, its just taking a few days longer.
When done, it will be available to watch online for premium members, or for those wishing to have a physical copy, it’ll also be available to buy.
Right now it looks like it’s going to take best part of a week to get the footage live, and probably another to put the DVD into production.
Hi I just wonder when can we see fights from ringmasters? Cheers!!!

As of yet, we’re thinking of keeping our video catalogue as online only.Premium members can of course watch the videos online, or download them to their computer. We host the videos in DVD quality, which means using a regular bit of PC software, you can burn the videos to disc easily
